This two year program provides university graduates with a formal training program where you’ll learn everything there is about hosting and cloud computing, equipping you with multiple career paths in networking, computing, cloud computing, or software development through DevOps and automation.

Fresh out of university, Stella joined Macquarie Cloud Services seeking real growth and challenge. In her first months, she embraced a steep learning curve, diving into real-world cybersecurity and cloud incidents—all while being supported by a team that champions curiosity, urgency, and camaraderie. With each new day, Stella is building confidence and capability in the world of cloud and cyber engineering.
Braiden joined Macquarie Cloud Services while completing his Computer Science degree, majoring in Cyber Security. What began as a spark of curiosity quickly evolved into a deep passion for DevOps and cloud infrastructure. Now preparing for RHCSA and mentoring new grads himself, Braiden says the program helped him discover what he truly enjoy, and gave him the space to pursue it.

Kayal joined Macquarie Cloud Services as a Tier 1 Engineer in 2021 as part of our Graduate Program. After completing her first 2 years, she had the option of diving into multiple career pathways. The pathway Kayal chose was Service Delivery. Today she smashes goals as a Technical Delivery manager ensuring our customers get the highest level of service.

Jake’s journey started with Macquarie Cloud Services back in 2019 as a graduate. After obtaining multiple technical certifications through Macquarie’s Certification Program, he moved into a solutions engineer role.

Simone joined Macquarie Cloud Services in 2020 as a graduate. An uncertain time for most with lockdowns in place, stepping out of university and entering the corporate world was something she was nervous about. Looking back at it she remembers how calm everyone at Macquarie made her feel. Today she works as a Tier 2 Engineer continuing to expand her knowledge and experience.

We hire graduates with a range of degrees including Engineering, Maths, IT & Computer Sciences.
Our graduate engineers emerge from the 2-year program with skills, experience and accreditations that place them a grade above a Tier 1 Network Operations Centre role. Careers pathways in networking, computing, service delivery, cloud computing or software development across our Cloud business are all possible!
As we recruit all year round, our graduates can commence any time.
In order to be considered you must be:
– An Australian citizen
– Enrolled or have completed a bachelor’s in a technology related field
– Passionate about IT and providing great customer service
We accept penultimate year students, final year students and those who have graduated recently. All we ask is that you can commit to full-time hours of 38 hours a week, bearing in mind this can be done via shift work and not just your normal 9am-5pm.
